Week 60 First Week in Junction City

Hey everyone!
This was an awesome week! So first off I said goodbye to Wichita and some awesome members in the Wichita west branch. I’ll attach the pics. I also had to say goodbye to my trainer Elder Flores. (He went home Wednesday) so after all the goodbyes I was able to go to Junction City!  Junction is a cool place and I am liking it. Since I’m the only Spanish missionary in junction I get to teach all the Spanish people! So that’s cool! We haven’t found too many yet but we will sure find them :) So something that is really cool is that we had a baptism Friday! Ramon is his name. He is really cool. He has been meeting with missionaries for over 5 years. A couple months ago he moved to Junction. And three week ago he called up the missionaries and asked them to come by. So that’s a real cool miracle that happened!
Also Saturday Jason (brother of Joe) was baptized in Kellogg so that’s super awesome!

Week 59 (Transfer News)

Hey everyone!
This week was really cool and we some some awesome milagros!! But also transfer news is in so I’ll start off with that. President called me sunday night and told me that I’m going to be a district leader in Junction city. I’ll be with Elder Bryan who just got finished with his training. He is an English missionary and it is an English area. So I pray I won’t forget my Spanish. But apparently there used to be a Spanish branch there long long ago. So that’s exciting!
So my time was short here in Wichita west and it’s kinda sad to leave Wichita which I have come to know and love so much. I’ll miss being comps with elder riddle he is a homie. But even though my time was short it was awesome and I had amazing experiences and learned so much.
One of these awesome experiences happened this week. With our investigator Ana. Who we have been teaching the whole time I’ve been in Wichita west. Anyways we were teaching her the gospel of Jesus Christ and we were talking about baptism. She told us how she knows she needs to be baptized and how her life has changed so much since she started reading the Book of Mormon and coming to church. She was in tears and told us how she has changed and how she has been finding much comfort though prayer. The spirit was so strong. So that was an amazing experience and lesson. On the down side she isn’t married to her boyfriend so it could take some time before she is baptized. But it will happen.
Also I found out this week that Jason (older brother of joe that got baptized a couple weeks back in Kellogg) is getting baptized this next weekend!!

Week 58

Last pday and an airplane factory with the zone

Week 57

Hey everyone!
I had a really awesome week this week! A really awesome part of the week was that Joe Hernandez and Ricardo Estrada were baptized! I’ll start off talking about Joe. We were teaching the neighbor of Joe and they told us that they had new neighbors move in an they  were from Idaho. So Elder Radman and I went over and knocked on the door (this was like 5 months ago) and meet some of the Hernandez family. We found out that they were a part member family.  And that four of the six kids were members baptized only 3 years ago. We started working with them to reactivate them and baptize the rest of the family. Long story short we started working a lot with joe because he wanted to be baptized. And just a week ago his mom agreed to his baptism and signed the baptismal form. So joe is just the beginning as he has two brothers that the missionaries are currently working with. So that’s awesome.
Ricardo was an awesome miracle as well. A member brought him to church one Sunday. After church Elders Quorum got out like 10min early so I had a good opportunity to talk to him. We had a good little talk about what missionaries do. He agreed to meet with us the next day. We had a great first lesson with him. As time went on I got transferred and I was sad to leave and miss out on teaching Joe and Ricardo. But I was super blessed for the opportunity I had to attend the baptism of both of them. It was so exciting to see them all again and as well as the Kellogg branch!
Anyways here are some pics!

Week 56

Hey everyone!
So this week was really awesome and a lot happened I’ll share the most awesome milagro that I saw. So last Monday I found out that two of my investigators in my last area are going to be baptized on the 29th! (Joe and Ricardo) so thats super awesome! And Friday night a member had a bonfire and a little devotional. It was really fun. One of the coolest families from the Kellogg branch was there and it was fun to see them again. But the coolest thing about it is that Ricardo who is getting baptized this week came as well. It was so awesome to see him. This is how our conversation went:
Me- Ricardo that’s so awesome you are getting baptized this week! Are you excited?
Ricardo- yes I am, but guess who is going to baptize me?
Me- umm... elder Wagner?
Ricardo- nope. I’ll give you a hint. He is standing right in front of me.
I was the only one standing in front of him so it was an obvious hint that it was me. I am so happy that he wants me to baptize him! Ricardo is the coolest guy ever and he has already set a goal for going to the temple! So Friday was an awesome day. I’ll send pics of the baptisms next week. :)

One more milagro that I want to share is that we have an investigator named Lorenzo and he is awesome. He has lots of health problems mostly caused by his cancer he has and he is almost deaf. But he is the nicest guy ever and he wants to be baptized so that’s awesome. But we have been teaching him for a couple weeks now. His sister moved in with him to take care of him and when we came to see Lorenzo Saturday his sister was home and she came and talked with us. We ended up teaching her the whole restoration and she thought is was really cool. She said, “well I’m going to come to your church tomorrow and read the Book of Mormon and if I like the church and god wants me to be there then I will stay in your church.” They both came to church and liked it so that’s awesome!
So this week has been going great in the city of Wichita.
